KY-026 – flame sensor reacts to infrared radiation (open fire) and is most sensitive to wavelengths from 760 nm to 1100 nm. This fire detector has two outputs – digital and analog and is easily connected to Arduino boards or other microcontrollers. There are 2 LEDs on the board – power indication and comparator output indication when fire is detected.
The module is based on the LM393 microcircuit. In the absence of flame, the analog output shows a voltage of 4.2 V, and when fire appears at a distance of 1 meter, the analog output shows 0.2 V (at a supply voltage of 5 V).
