The magnetic linear Hall sensor is a sensor with a digital interface. The sensor has both digital and analog outputs. It is used to detect a magnetic field near the sensor. It can be used in Arduino projects. It can work as a limit switch, rotation speed sensor, encoder, etc. Unlike reed sensors, it has no moving parts, and therefore is much more durable.
