The KY-022 IR receiver module is based on the VS1838B sensor (operating frequency 38 kHz) and is designed to receive data via an infrared channel from TV remote controls and other equipment in the home.
The board has an LED with a 1 kOhm current-limiting resistor, which are connected between the VCC+ and S contacts.
